AMY BUTLER FABRICS

Hi, friends! Before I go on to the essence of this post, just wanna ask if any of you are experiencing problems with Blogger these days?
I still can't visit some of your blogs as they are reported as non-existent (but checking 'em back after a little while, they are safely displayed again) and now, on top of it all, I've just come to find out that several freshly made comments here are deleted!!
Well, most of the time Blogger is quite a stress-free place, but the latest quirks have gotten really annoying and disappointing..! 8/

Ok, let's better switch to something beautiful and namely, these colourful home textiles with easy recognizable bold floral patterns by Amy Butler, an artist and designer who also creates other stuff like wallpapers, rugs, threads and yarns, handbags and stationery.

You're not alone. Blogger was a real mess last week. It finally shut down for about 24 hours. I googled the situation and learned, from Blogger, that they had maintenance problems...that they had lost last posts and comments and worked to restore them.

I went by your blog a couple of times but lost the connection. I think there are still problems today, though. Blogger's just not as smoothe. Nothing can be done but wait it out.

We are presently having horrible flooding problems along the Mississippi River. Soon officials will open some of the locks at the Morganza Spillway. (too long for here, best to Google) This will cause forced flooding to the west so that Baton Rouge and New Orleans can be saved.

We all know this as the flooded area has fewer people. Anyway, we're glued to the TV. The area I blog about isn't far from the Morganza Spillway. The town of Morganza doesn't have a traffic light.

Amy's fabrics are truly a delight. I noticed many Central Asia motifs in her patterns. Love the colors!
