"White...is not a mere absence of colour;
it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red,
as definite as black...
God paints in many colours;
but He never paints so gorgeously, I had almost said
so gaudily, as when He paints in white." --G. K. Chesterton

If talking about the colour white, its most interesting, and one of my most favourite, combination would be with the pink. Really, the juiciest way to see 'pink' is on the white!Some delightful comparisons, when thinking of the pink & white colour palette, are coming to my mind: raspberry and cream or flowers under snow. Actually, nature and surrounding environments constantly suggest truly unique, smashing ideas on colour matching to the attentive eye.

Dear Zara,
ReplyDeleteCrisp and light, bold and fresh with a speck of pink here and there. I like the floor boards. Do you think that is white paint? Are those old phonograph record jackets on the floor? The front one looks like Dolly Partton but I can't really see it very well.
I thought I'd have more time by now but I've taken on new learning projects. Tap dancing and playing Flamenco guitar. My guitar was crying in the closet long enough so now it sits in the studio awaiting my fragmented practice. No music yet.... just finger exercises.
Miss you, my dear one.
